When Ken and Deanna made the decision to fulfill a dream of many years to live on the water they selected a top designer who specialized in floating homes; the best builder on the West Coast and the finest West Coast village as the site for their floating house.  At about that time they were approached by the National Geographic organization with a request to build a documentary about their new life.  The resulting film has been shown many times around the world and regularly brings fan mail from viewers in several countries asking them about the lifestyle.  They have even met people socially on a holiday in England who immediately recognized them from the documentary movie!
